Our purpose is to offer your children a place of wonder and discovery as they learn Bible truths. Our goal for each weekend service is to create an environment that is both educational and entertaining. We want to capture your child’s imagination, intrigue them, and set them on a course of discovery.
Our Children's Ministry seeks to bring children into age-appropriate worship where they can belong to the family of God, grow in their relationship with Christ, learn to serve, and then go share Christ in the world! We strive to do this through our weekend programs, our various activities and events for children, Sunday school small groups, summer camp, and vacation Bible school.
Simply:
Connecting kids to Christ and Igniting a passion for His purpose!

Thrive 4:5

All 4th-5th graders are invited to attend and be a part of Thrive 4:5, which is our 4th-5th grade youth group. We meet on Sunday afternoons from 2pm-3:30pm. It functions and runs very similar to a middle or high school youth group. We incorporate a fun large group game, a time of worship, a large group lesson, and some small group time every time that we meet. We are using a curriculum that is Biblically-sound and Jesus-centered.

Here are a few reasons why we are offering this important ministry. First, we want to make the transition from 5th grade to 6th grade as seamless as possible for every child. Second, we also want to give all 4th and 5th grade children something extra that will help them to grow in their walk with Christ and that they can call their own as they prepare to transition to 6th grade in the next year or two. Third, we want to help all 4th-5th graders to be able to develop additional community and friendships in their late elementary years.

Kid's Game Night

We would love to have your children join us for our upcoming Kid's Game Night! Our next Kid's Game Night will happen on Thursday, Feb. 14, from 6pm to 8:30pm here at HMCC.

All children ages 0 through 5th grade are invited to attend. Parents will need to check their children in and pick their children up. Children will have opportunities to participate in activities like playing board games, playing with legos and other toys, playing some organized large group games, and fellowshipping with the other children as well as the adult and teen leaders.

If you are planning to bring your child(ren), then RSVP using the online registration form or see Jonathan Beaver. If you are RSVPing via the online form, click on the picture on the left to access the form. You will need to fill out one registration form for each child that you are registering. You can also see Jonathan Beaver if you have any questions about the event. We are looking forward to seeing each and every one of your children there!
