February 2: We ENABLE them to RESTORE RELATIONSHIPS
Often broken people have broken relationships. In chapter five certain wealthy Jewish are oppressing, excluding and enslaving their neighbors. As with Nehemiah, we must help the broken to know learn how to restore relationships. This is part of the living out their new life.

February 9: We TEACH them to LEARN GOD’S WORD
God’s word is the pattern and liberator of the broken and the lost. Jesus said that the truth will set us free. Understanding God’s patterns, attitudes and behavior is a key to new life. Ezra and Nehemiah help them to understand God’s word and to know the word’s applications.
